The success of environmental candidates has made the League of Conservation Voters take note of possibilities for electing likeminded candidates in Illinois. We are carrying out a massive fundraising drive to hire campaign staff for year-round grassroots organizing on behalf of environmental concious candidates in Illinois.

· Federation of State Conservation Voter Leagues (FSCVL) is showing its dedication to the ILCV by agreeing to match local donations up to $10,000!!!

· That means your donation to the only organization devoted full-time to electing pro-environment candidates in Illinois will count double!

· Make your voice heard with your generous donation of $1,000, $500, $250, $100, or $50.

Every donation counts because every vote counts. Here's how your gift will make the difference:

$1000 will allow us to inform 2000 voters about competing candidates in a contested House race.

$500 will pay for a 40-volunteer phonebank to make 2,000 calls urging voters to replace an anti-environment incumbent.

$350 will allow us to identify and bring 350 pro-environment voters to to the polls for one of our endorsed State Senate candidatest.

$250 will pay for printing and distribution of 500 copies of our quarterly newsletter.

$100 will let us recruit 10 volunteers to remind voters in 500 homes to mail their ballots.
